Romero is the owner of Drumtalk39 Entertainment
and producer/engineer for Drumtalk39 Recording Studio. Romero is also the
musical director/manager/principal drummer for Coyaba African Dance Company. His
credits include theatre performances (Arena Stage, Hartford Stage, the Kennedy
Center), television (BET), and University Workshops. In dance he has worked with
many legendary choreographers including Alvin Ailey and Katherine Dunham among
others. He has worked with "Sketches" Jazz, Marcus Johnson, Bobby Lyle, Davie
Yarborough, Rob Seals and many international recording artists and his
performance schedule has taken him throughout the U.S. and as far as South
Korea.
Percussion Discussion
During the CROWNS production promotion for the Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY,
Romero, percussionist, and actress Joy Lyn Mathews were asked to host the
WDKX 104 FM 8 a.m. morning show twice, and on both occasions Romero's CD's
Aaaaaahhh Lately and Backbone were aired.
Also, Romero and DJ Freddy Colon performed live with a percussion discussion on
congas throughout the show.

Studio Arena’s “Crown’s” is the first 2005 event scheduled to mark the 100th
anniversary of the Niagara Movement.
The Niagara Movement – predecessor to the National Association for the
Advancement of Colored People – was born in Buffalo in 1905 when a group of
leading African-American intellectuals, writers and activists met here and in
Fort Erie, Ontario.
